Three Decades of Faithful Service
HOPE PNG was founded in 1994 with a simple but powerful conviction: that every person in Papua New Guinea deserves access to health, education, and opportunity regardless of where they live. For over thirty years, that conviction has driven our work across the country; from urban clinics in Port Moresby to remote communities in the highlands.
What began as a small faith-based initiative has grown into one of PNG’s most trusted NGOs, delivering health, education, agriculture, and social services to some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Pacific. Through the dedication of our staff and volunteers, the vision that started in 1994 is still very much alive today.

Everything we do flows from the belief that compassionate, community-centred service can transform lives.
Our mission is to deliver that change through the commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers, providing sustainable, high-impact services to those who need them most. We don’t just address immediate needs — we walk alongside communities for the long term, building the foundations for a healthier and more hopeful PNG.
